Below Ground Package Pump Stations

The "Mini Drain" Pump series are all pre-assembled packaged pumping stations for use in areas where gravity flow is not available. They are used for various drainage applications and employ the use of a single automatic drainage pump. These systems are specially designed for easy installation for use with clean / dirty water and treatment plant discharge applications (not designed to handle domestic sewage).

All our pumping stations comply to BS EN 12050-1:2001 / BS EN 752-6:1998 standards.

A Siren Alarm is recommended to ensure that there is no excess build up in the event of a pump failure.

These packaged pumping stations consist of 600mm dia moulded polyethylene sumps suitable for below ground applications. These are various depths and are supplied with a single 2" automatic sewage pump (240v) suitable for pumping sewage/foul water or drainage water applications. The stations also come with a manhole cover designed for pedestrian duty.

Automatic operation is standard with the use of an integral floatswitch fitted to the pump. These units are complete with internal flexible hose, swing check valve and fittings terminating on the outside of the tank with a 2" male BSP thread.

A Siren Alarm is recommended to ensure that there is no excess build up in the event of a pump failure.

A 110mm rubber grommet is also provided so that an inlet can be cut to the customers requirements on site (Note requires a 140mm hole to be cut).

The guiderail systems comprise of a metal rail inside the tank connected to a duckfoot bend at the bottom, which in turn is connected to the discharge pipework. The pumps are fitted with a mounting that attaches to the rail and are lowered down using a lifting chain, with the weight of the pump pushing down forms the connection. With this the pumps can be quickly and easily removed for maintenance by raising them with the lifting chain. This completely eliminates the need to drain the tank and physically uncouple the connections.

The tank comes complete with a single, guide rail mounted 240v submersible pump available in 2inch, 2.5inch or 3inch sizes. Also featuring internal pipework, fittings & valves, lifting chain, a manhole cover with frame and a control panel with dual floatswitches for automatic operation.
